We can provide assistance with history teaching and learning in higher education including:

  • individual advice and mentoring
  • departmental strategic and curriculum planning
  • development and review of degree programmes
  • workshops, seminars or away-days on teaching history issues, including classroom strategies, curriculum development, innovative pedagogies, assessment, skills development, transition to university history, integrative learning, culture change in higher education
  • careers education and employability for history, arts and humanities graduates, including work placements and eportfolios
  • updates on the scholarship of teaching and learning in history
  • advice on research and publication in history pedagogy
  • preparation of proposals for funding bodies
